Ebru holds a BA in Political Science and Public Administration from Bilkent University, where she explored the link between political revolutions and development.
After graduation, she worked with an NGO in Brazil focused on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
She later earned an MSc in Social and Cultural Anthropology and Sustainable Development from KU Leuven, focusing on socio-environmental sustainability in Mediterranean agriculture.
Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in Political Science and Sociology at VUB and the University of Antwerp, specialising in political discourse in disaster contexts.
Alongside her research, she works as a policy officer for sustainable mobility, engaging with EU institutions to support greener policies.
Ebru envisions creating a platform where ideas, innovation, and social impact come together to drive meaningful change. With this vision, she aspires to become a politician committed to fostering systemic transformation through entrepreneurial thinking, creative solutions, and socially impactful initiatives.
Throughout her life, Ebru has imagined different realities for herself and shown the courage to pursue them.
She is now passionate about helping others discover and express that same spirit within themselves.
